CUFI Co-Executive Director
Shari Dollinger serves as Co-Executive Director of Christians United for Israel, sharing executive leadership of the largest pro-Israel organization in the United States with the Hagee family leadership team and playing a central role in CUFI's grassroots organizing and campus engagement programs. Her career at CUFI spans the organization's growth from a founding vision into a 10-million-member institution, and her focus has been on the infrastructure of sustained activism: training local chapter leaders, building the pipeline of young evangelicals into CUFI's student network, and ensuring that the organization's Washington advocacy operation has the constituency density to produce congressional attention rather than merely another advocacy group's briefings.
CUFI's student network — CUFI on Campus — is among Dollinger's primary areas of emphasis. The program operates at hundreds of colleges and universities, providing evangelical Christian students with pro-Israel educational resources, connections to Israeli voices and students, and political organizing frameworks for campus environments where pro-Palestinian organizations have historically been more organized. In the period following October 7, CUFI on Campus became a critical counter-presence on campuses where pro-Israel students felt isolated, providing organizational infrastructure, speaking platforms, and strategic guidance for students navigating hostile campus environments.
Dollinger's public profile is lower than John Hagee's, but the organization she co-leads is a product of the grassroots cultivation work that she has driven. The CUFI model — mobilizing evangelical Christians not as passive sympathizers but as active political participants who call their representatives, attend rallies, and show up in Washington — requires executive leadership that understands community organizing at the pastoral level, not just the political level. That is the skill set she brings. At Rank 34, Dollinger is the organizational architect whose work translates evangelical Christian sympathy for Israel into the disciplined, scalable civic action that makes CUFI's political influence real.
